Hearts are getting emptier in America………..
“So Jesus said to them again, ‘Truly, truly I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All those who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.’” John 10:7-11
Adrian Rogers: It’s amazing to me how many people today are trying to find the answer. Some people think the answer is intellectual. They think if they can just learn more facts, if they can just learn more theology, if they can just learn more history, if they can just learn more of this or that, then they will be satisfied. So, they go from class to class and church to church with their heads getting fuller and their hearts getting emptier.
The pictures I am posting were taken by me about three months ago or so when our Taylor Ranch neighborhood has a thug running loose who jumped through a window of a home occupied by a 90-year-old woman. The Police were on the scene for several hours making every effort to get the thug out of the home without any harm being done to the lovely lady. APD succeeded! PTL!
Needless to say crime is out of control here. Never have had anything like this happen in the 20 years we have lived in Taylor Ranch. Crime has no zip code.
I am told I preach basic Christianity. I TRY! When life goes to hell, like it has in America, we all better get back to the basics. What the Church has been doing has failed big time. To many high school pep rallies, a lot of noise, not much repentance and change of behavior. Got Questions states: The word repentance in the Bible literally means “the act of changing one’s mind.” True biblical repentance goes beyond remorse, regret, or feeling bad about one’s sin. It involves more than merely turning away from sin. Eerdmans Bible Dictionary includes this definition of repentance: “In its fullest sense it is a term for a complete change of orientation involving a judgment upon the past and a deliberate redirection for the future.” More Here Here at FGGAM, me and Sharon get out on the streets and byways, we heart this a lot, “I don’t go to Church anymore, I don’t see it being effective.” Swallow that! I see it. I feel it!
Politicians can do nothing to stop this evil. America is going to hell fast, the only answer is JESUS! JESUS! It is a heart issue. Hearts need to be given to JESUS! The only way to peace and truth. Many think that laws will stop evil! WRONG! ONLY THE CHANGE OF HEARTS TO JESUS NOT TO SATAN!! The Church here in Albuquerque is losing the battle against evil. It is not Baptizing enough folks. 87-year-old Pastor Don Kimbro of Albuquerque told me years ago, that the lack of baptisims and helping people to grow up as mature Christians would catch up with us in a bad way. IT HAS!
The greatest failure of the Church in America in the last decade is getting wrapped around evil politicians and failure to carry out The Great Commission . How many folks has your Church baptized in the last year?
My daddy always taught me to look at myself in the mirror when times got tough. Maybe you should to. What have you failed to do?
Time for a gut check folks, or I should say, soul check!
Anytime you get politicians involved in situations like this, they just make a big mess. Politics will not save you! JESUS WILL!
Let me put this evil time we are living in a very simplified form Avery T Willis Jr. in his book, Master Life.
“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18.
The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.
JESUS! Is the answer! I know this sounds to simple to people not of God, and maybe many that say they know God. I do not know. All I know is what God says in the Bible.
KOB TV Reports: On Tuesday, Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller and Police Chief Harold Medina outlined urgent requests to the state that would lower crime in the metro. City leaders say now is the time to call a special legislative session. More Here

We are a weird people, we have Churches on every street corner in America, I know of a village of around 200 people and they have 7 Churches. All over America we have Christian events, concerts, Bible studies, revivals, and look at the results. Hell on earth. A messed up government and a messed up people. So many Christian books, tapes, cd’s, YouTube, blogs, Facebook, websites, conferences, Christian TV and radio, so many different organizations with the same goals. Why cannot we be one in Christ? My goodness people! Are you afraid to give up some turf? Pride? Power? We all should look at what we are really doing for JESUS. We are not to boast in ourselves, we are not to act like fools on Facebook to glorify what we do.What are you and I doing to bring people to JESUS?
What are we doing with what JESUS has given us?
Just think with all we have just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview and just 37% of Pastors have a Biblical Worldview. Barba Research. You see the results! HELL ON EARTH!
A Biblical worldview was defined as believing that absolute moral truths exist; that such truth is defined by the Bible; and firm belief in six specific religious views. Those views were that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life; God is the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe and He stills rules it today; salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned; Satan is real; a Christian has a responsibility to share their faith in Christ with other people; and the Bible is accurate in all of its teachings. From Barna Research.
Please read this excellent message on Evangelism by FGGAM’s Pastor Ed Solis: Hearing is Believing Sometimes it’s not that the Church doesn’t want to go out and do the Great Commission, sometimes we don’t know how.
