What does the Bible say about poverty in children?
We will protect children and their families from exploitation and advocate their cause to those in power.
2 Corinthians 8:9 – “And we will offer them the hope of our faith in Christ, who shared in their poverty during his sojourn on earth so that through him all might live in abundance.”
America aborts many of God’s babies. America fails to protect God’s children. God will have His way with us all. So many children are dying from violence. We are doing a horrible job. Shame on America!
What did Jesus say about the children?
Mark 10:13-16 – “People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.’”
America’s poverty rate soared last year. Children were among the worst hit. Child poverty in the United States more than doubled and median household income declined last year when coronavirus pandemic-era government benefits expired and inflation kept rising, according to figures released Tuesday by the U.S. Census Bureau.
