Are You Ready For Celebration Sunday?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Today is Sunday, a day to celebrate. A day where imperfect people come together to meet with a perfect God. Everyone has struggles, setbacks, and disappointments. As a group of believers, we come together so that we can help one another. It’s a day of celebration and to worship our God. Some folks will be on the mountaintop and some folks will be in the valley.
Recently, I took a friend to visit Mitzpah in Grand Isle, Maine. Mitzpah means to help another. I have visited that place many times and cross the bridge of forgiveness. It is hard to forgive when people have done us harm intentional or not. Forgiveness doesn’t come easy on any side, but we are commanded to forgive.
Forgiveness doesn’t make everything alright; it allows God to work on all parties involved. Sometimes relationships are restored and sometimes they are not. All we are asked to do is to forgive and sometimes that’s all that we can muster up with the power of the Holy Spirit.
I have learned a long time ago, when I can get past the hurt, (because our hearts should be not to hurt one another), that God will return double. Never step on another to get where you are going. God sees it all. He puts people in places, and he also takes them out. Trust him with it all.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for celebration Sunday. A day to worship you with other likeminded believers.
Father, let forgiveness flow today. Give people the grace to forgive, to let go, to begin again. Heal the inner hurts your people are carrying and set us all free, we pray. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Celebrate Sunday, celebrate Jesus, celebrate your new season.
Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. (John 8:36)
