My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
John 14:2-4
He’s gone to prepare a place to get ready for us, he’ll be back to get us, we have to be ready and not ashamed to face him.
The most important event we’re waiting for with open arms, can also be scary if we live a life that is not pleasing to God.
We are not promised tomorrow, there’s no time to waste. Be ready to meet him at any moment. There will be no excuses.
If there is something in your life causing you to avoid his presence, it’s imperative that you confess that to him.
