Ugly stuff for sure………this is the kind of stuff that chases away people from the Church. I could write a book on this kind of hurt, right from the lips of the victims. Can you even imagine the hurt???!!! The belief that Sharon and I have is to never let money get in the way of ministry. Boy! I could tell you some stories of my experiences. Never let money rule your life or the life of your ministry!! God takes care of it!

Rev. Harvey Saunders of First Baptist Church Hollins in Virginia is coming under fire for refusing to allow a long-time member’s family to bury her in the church’s cemetery because she was removed from their membership roll for not tithing. The family, who has launched a petition signed by thousands, says the church cashed more than $1,700 in checks from the late grandmother, Alice Mae Garrison, in the seven years prior to her death, during which time she was unable to attend in person due to failing health.
