What Does Your Church Have to Offer Those Who Live Alone?

More than a quarter of Americans live alone. What does the church have to offer that’s better than the comfort and freedom of being alone?

More Americans are choosing to be alone.

According to the United States Census Bureau, more than a quarter (27.6%) of all U.S. households were one-person households as of 2020. In 1940, just 7.7% of households had only one person. Since then, the share of people living alone has increased every decade.

Most of those living alone are between the ages of 15 and 64 (16.5%). However, this percentage has declined slightly since 2010 (17.3%), while the percentage of Americans 65 and older has increased (9.4% to 11.1%). More Here
