By Your Hand, a Prayer for Israel
Psalms 17:6-15 NKJV
I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech. Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings, From the wicked who oppress me, From my deadly enemies who surround me. They have closed up their fat hearts; With their mouths they speak proudly. They have now surrounded us in our steps; They have set their eyes, crouching down to the earth, As a lion is eager to tear his prey, And like a young lion lurking in secret places. Arise, O Lord, Confront him, cast him down; Deliver my life from the wicked with Your sword, With Your hand from men, O Lord, From men of the world who have their portion in this life, And whose belly You fill with Your hidden treasure. They are satisfied with children, And leave the rest of their possession for their babes. As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.
Psalms 17:6-15
Father, we come to your Throne of Mercy and Grace by the name of your Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Yeshua Hamashiach.
Nothing is unseen from Your Holy eye.
Even from the lengths of Heaven nothing is far from You!
As You see the hearts of Your creation turn cold towards one another and towards You, wars and rumors of wars have spread throughout your creation. Terror and destruction ravage and destroy the hearts of those that are suffering through this.
I pray that by Your undying mercy You forgive us for coming against You and Your Holy Word.
We come to you today Father in all humility and we ask that You continue to protect Your chosen people, Israel. I ask that Your peace and comfort overwhelms them.
In their time of desperation may they fix all that is in them on You.
Direct their eyes to look to the Lord our God, Until your mercy is undeniable. Cover them with Your mighty wing. Bring to remembrance that they are still the Apple of Your eye and nothing, not even the terror by day or night, can snatch them from You Mighty Hand!
As the enemy surrounds them, make a way for them when it seems like there is none.
Be their strength to endure. Be their Hope. Be their Light that guides them in this dark hour.
Arise, O Lord, Confront him, cast him down; Deliver my life from the wicked with Your sword.
May Your sword of truth and protection come down mightily to save.
Protect Your baby’s Lord from those that look to destroy what Your Hand has created. Protect their mothers from the hands that take life.
Protect and strengthen Your men to defend Your Honor and Glory. To protect the Land that You, by Your Word, have promised to them.
Let them all rest assured that You are a God that keeps Your promises and Covenants, and You never fail!
Protect all of Israel and those that inhabit her.
May the Walls of Jerusalem continue to stand as a testimony of Your Protection and Goodness over her.
Those that don’t know Your Son,
Jesus Christ the Messiah, may this be the time of their salvation and redemption!
In this time of sorrow and hardship may they find comfort and rest in His precious arms.
We know that this is the only place that it can be found.
Holy Spirit guide them to their Redeemer!
Turn their hurt and broken hearts to You.
Shelter them from this chaos that the enemy of our souls has provoked.
Those that are enemies of Your Throne, I ask Lord that you visit them in dreams and visions. Show them what it will be like to be separated from You for an eternity and what awaits them if they don’t repent.
Nothing is far from Your Hand.
Even in this time may You somehow be Glorified.
I ask Lord to show Your face in all of Your Righteousness, to the ones that know You and even to the Ones that don’t.
We ask all of this knowing that Your are still on Your Throne. You hear our prayers and You are not slack in providing and answering.
May You will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We ask all of this in the name above every Name Jesus Christ of Nazareth!
Amen!
