Keeping Your Peace
Find a place that is quiet with no distraction . Focus on the beauty of Christ who he is and what he can do . Be open to receive his peace that he has promised you. When you cry out to him he will comfort you .
Be still before the Lord, in his presence for he is in control. Remember times that he has helped you . God promise to help you and never leave you. Talk to him, trust in him you will hear his soothing voice as you rest in him.
The quieter you become the more you can hear him.
Habakkuk 2:20 The Lord is in his holy Temple. All the earth be quiet in his presence
Jesus is able to calm the storm within you and around you
Psalm 107:28-29 They cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress.
Stop worrying and stop being distracted by the world and just listen to the Lord
Wait patiently and trust him.
Psalm 37:7 Be still before the the Lord and wait patiently for him . Do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord and he turned to me and heard my cry .
Perseverance in hard times
Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with me, your rod and your staff they comfort me.
Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction faithful in prayer.
We need to cease and allow Christ to give us a peace that the world can’t offer
Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as member of one body you were called to peace.

Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is steadfast because he trust in you.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you , my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
