How will they know!
Romans 10:14-15 NKJV
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”
Romans 10:14-15
Not many today go out on the Great Commission because of the lack of Assurance they have.
Have you not received the saving Grace. Have you not accepted the free gift of Salvation!
The Salvation that we have so Graciously been given is such an amazing gift! it is so much more than we think.
I pray today that you can see it a bit differently.
When we can take a step back and realize what that Salvation actually does and means it should change how we think about it.
Yes, it saves us from the Fiery Pit. Yes, the Glory of Heaven awaits us, but it is much more than that.
There is no successful program that can be used to make The Great Commission successful.
There is not an algorithm or a quick way to get the Word of Salvation out.
God uses His people.
It is realizing the importance of what you have been saved from and then having the heart and desire to let others know what is available and waiting.
There is only one thing that separates us from those that have never heard of Salvation through the Resurrected King of Glory. That one thing is the Grace of God!
What is the hardest thing about sharing your faith?
Is it uneasiness, being out of your comfort zone?
Maybe it’s because you may feel that you don’t know enough to profess the Salvation you have.
The Great Commission is one of the easiest things to do yet the hardest most difficult commands to follow.
We can now start to feel the desperation in our hearts. There is tugging and a pulling by the Holy Spirit to move.
We see what is happening throughout the whole world. Nothing is normal or stable anymore.
We see the wickedness and brutality among God’s creation.
We may see the evil of man and say
” They get what they deserve!”
What gives us the right to determine that?
How prevalent is the Kingship, the Lordship Of Jesus in your life?
The Salvation that we have accepted has a power that many don’t realize. Most definitely don’t utilize it.
Assurance.
Confidence.
Promise.
In our Salvation we should learn how to live in all three!
When we do then nothing can stop us from proclaiming the Goodness of God through His only begotten Son, Jesus!
Even to the ones we call enemies.
Matthew 5:43-46 NKJV
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
It is so easy to speak the Kingdom of God when people are not against you. The tender words of Grace and Mercy flow easily from our tongue!
And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?
But what about the ones that are so against the message of repentance and submission? The hardness of heart not willing to come under the Lordship of Jesus.
And how shall they preach unless they are sent?
We are called to pray for those that persecute us. That is not so easy.
So many are very hostile to even the mention of His name.
Even those must hear about the free gift of Salvation.
And how shall they hear without a preacher?
Jesus says to go unto ALL the nations.
I am confident that it means all types of people.
The friendly and the unfriendly.
The ones willing and even to the ones that at the end may reject it.
We have Salvation in Christ.
Yes this gives us Eternal and Everlasting life. This gives us the Assurance of Heaven!
But many do not walk whole and complete in that paid in full Salvation. The one that Jesus endured the most dreadful and horrid death. The same Salvation that was pierced and hung. The same Salvation that we have that others so desperately need to receive!
There is an unfortunate part to this.
Sadly, we don’t completely walk in it.
Many just take it for themselves without ever trying to bring the next into God’s fold.
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
When we are made whole and complete in the love of Christ something happens within us.
When we have the total and complete assurance of our own Salvation it is much easier to speak about it.
Think about this.
The way we see our enemies is dictated by how we see our leader.
As His adopted sons and daughters, there must be only One that leads and guides us. It is by His voice we listen for and obey.
We take His lead. We depend on the Holy Spirit to guide and even give us the words to speak.
Whatever fear or doubt we have gets pushed out by knowing and understanding Who’s name we go in!
Walk in the power of your Salvation!
When we are made secure in His redemption then we no longer have to have the fear to speak to the ones that we would consider our enemies.
When we are made whole in Christ we must know that there is nothing that can pluck us from the Mighty Hand.
So go out.
This is how we can actually have the ability to love even our enemies.
Then we can understand that even they need Jesus!
This is walking completely in our Salvation!
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things”
Let your beautiful feet step out and preach the Gospel of peace!
Speak the freedom of Repentance and the remission of sins. Bring the peace of Christ to the waring, unsettled heart.
Walk in the power of your Salvation!
Sometimes we just have to follow the Leader.
We may not totally understand the assignment.
We may not agree with it.
We do not see the benefit of going where He tells us.
It is not our decision.
We have been commissioned to go.
So go out!
We must have all the assurance of Heaven that where we are sent that is where we are supposed to be. The Words that we speak, even to the ones against us, are what needs to be spoken.
He is with you!
His promise, His Word!
Check your heart today.
Ask yourself how much Assurance and confidence do you have in not only your Salvation but your Leader!
It is through those that you can bring peace to the hearts that are at war.
Bring hope to the lost and hopeless.
Love your enemies by pointing them to their Redeemer. Even to the ones that persecute you.
Walk in the full power of your Salvation!
