Plain speaking today from an old preacher and news reporter………
I am watching war reports by Palki Sharma of Vantage as I type this! Pastor Don Kimbro recommended them to me! Excellent reporting! No DEMS or GOP junk! No ugly politics! Excellent journalism, something very lacking in America! I am sickened by bloggers/news reporters/ in America that put forth junk! Many of these writers say in their headlines: The Left……or the Right make a move to establish a whatever…….. I have spent over 40 years in media. I was trained as a radio journalist at Brown Institute in Minneapolis. I started out in 1978 at the Minnesota State News Network as a weekend news producer. We were trained that there was no ‘right’ or ‘left’ reporting. To think these folks, think that is journalism makes me sick, it his a disgrace for those of us who have gone before them. Politics rules American journalism. Satan rules many.
Some of you that know of the old sage, Will Rogers, might identify my reporting style from the works of that wise man. Will said, “If you ever injected truth into politics you have no politics” I love Will.
When I was writing this report, Harry Truman also came to mind……’Plain Speaking.’ I think that was the title of one of the books I read about old Harry, one of my heroes.
Yep, plain speaking is what it is……..
Maybe the thing that put the icing on the cake for my report this morning was when I was reading about someone on the ‘right’ stating that the eclipse was fake, some kind of conspiracy! Man what are these people drinking!! My goodness! Do not these people know they present themselves as crazy to the world!!!???
To think the people on the right and left think their reporting is going to change the minds of Americans, is just plain stupid. News reporting was never meant to change minds, it was to inform. Americans are becoming more and more aware that the left and right are destroying America. I pray that you have God given discernment. Be careful also of some outlets that label themselves as Christian media. Some have turned very political. America has lost her mind
When I see headlines like…….The Left moves to legalize or the Right declares victory….I get sick to my stomach.

Too many Americans have and are making money off of God. God will have the final say on all of us. I have a lot of questions I pray I get to ask God. Did God ever intend for Pastors, Churches, and ministries to be rich and glorify themselves? Think of Mother Teresa, she is one of my role models in serving all people for JESUS. A lot of the stuff that is out in the public eye, that presents ‘itself’ as Christian, does not cut the mustard, as far as I am concerned. ha! Look up that old saying! God’s Judgement
