“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”
Matthew 24:36
As things get closer to the end of times, we must be careful for false teachings.
If anyone gives a date or time of Christs return, they’re wrong. None of us know that.
From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates.
Matthew 24:32-33
We will know the season. We know when it’s fall time, correct? We see the leaves changing colors, the temperature changes and fall is in the air..
God gave us a gift, and that’s to recognize the season. Jesus wants His followers to understand that when the things He has described as signs of His return begin to happen, His arrival will also be near.
It’s not our job to figure out the day or hour.
What we must do is be ready for him at all times and occupy till he comes.
And he called his ten servants, and delivers them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
Luke 19:13
Recently, I’ve seen people arguing over their beliefs of when the rapture will happen and what the circumstances will be like. It’s foolishness to argue about it. We have to get ready and prepare our hearts knowing Christs return is imminent.
You are to be like the faithful servant, who knows not what hour his master may come home, but keeps all things ready and prepared.
Repent, forgive, evangelize and pray.. constantly.
Many Blessing’s,
Connie
