What is prayer?
Prayer is communicating with God spending time with him . Prayer gives us guidance, wisdom, discernment fulfilling God’s purposes.
Prayer is feeling his heartbeat being intimate with the Father. Prayer is being still and wait to hear his still small voice. Prayer is giving him reverence being thankful and giving him praise.
Prayer is not giving up on the promises of God. Prayer is believing and trusting God. Prayer gives us hope.
Prayer is approaching His throne of grace with confidence to help us in time of need.
Prayer is powerful and effective. Prayer is calling out to God.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
Jesus says: Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
Psalm 145:18 The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
Psalm 91:15 He shall call upon me and I will answer him, I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
James 5:16 The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective .
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful
