Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances;for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
One thing a thankful heart does, is remind us that it is unhealthy to focus on the negative things.
We ought to be taking enough time out of our day, to thank God for his blessings.
An attitude of gratitude will lead us away from worry, and anxiety. It also prevents us from letting negativity rule our hearts.
Scripture has a cure for these hardships:
“ Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” And when thanksgiving accompanies our prayers, our hearts are free from anxiety as the “peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard [our] hearts and [our] minds in Christ Jesus”
Philippians 4:6-7
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothes?”
Matthew 6:25
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7

“I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.”
