Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

1 Chronicles 16:34

The depth of God’s love for you is enormous. There’s not one thing that we can compare it to or that we can measure it by.

There is absolutely nothing more powerful than the love He has for us.

His love can move mountains, heal broken hearts, transform lives, set us free from sin and shame and It can break the chain of addiction.

His love for us is so grand, that he sent his only son to die for our sins. He literally left the embrace of his son, in order to save us and have us with him for eternity.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

John 3:16

God loves you simply because he loves you. You don’t have to work for his affection, or get everything right before coming to him.

You come to him just as you are and he does the transforming.

Sometimes we might doubt the love of God because of a relationship that broke us.

Others have hurt us or even through our own bad choices we’ve doubted his love.

Scripture tells is that “God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

Government will fail you, people will fail you, your workplace might fail you, but God’s love, will never fail you!

When your finances run out, when your relationship has ended, when you’re alone and feeling depleted, God remains the same.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Hebrews 13:8

He doesn’t love us because we’re good, or kind or faithful. Instead, He loves us because He’s good and kind and faithful.

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.

Deuteronomy 7:9

I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.

Jeremiah 31:3

When we begin to accept that true love from our Father God, our feelings for Him will begin to change.

As we seek to know him better and spend more time meditating on Scripture and seeking his face, our relationship with him becomes more intimate.

1 John 4:10 says it best:

This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us.

My prayer for you today, is that you would seek to know him better. That you would truly understand the unconditional love he has for you. Regardless of what you’ve ever done!

Many Blessings,

Connie
