A Special Invitation to Save Lives
Event This Saturday!
Hello Dewey,
You’re invited to help save lives this weekend! Join Love Life Albuquerque’s, “Celebrate Life Week 40 Prayer Walk” from 9 AM – 11 AM starting at Ernie Taylor Park, 10021 Guiterrez NE, Saturday, November 11, 2023. Regsiter and learn more here.
Love Life Albuquerque is a ministry partner of New Mexico Alliance for Life and hosts weekly prayer walks in front of the Alamo abortion business in northeast Albuquerque, NM–culminating it’s 40 weeks of prayer walks this Saturday. Longtime pro-life advocate, Ethel Maharg helped launch the Albuquerque location earlier this year. Their mission is to “unite and mobilize the church to create a Culture of Love and Life that will result in an end to abortion and the orphan crisis.”
In fact, last month, Love Life Albuquerque, in partnership with local pastor Richard Mansfield of New Beginnings Church assisted two women in choosing life for their babies, while turning at least two additional women away from the abortion business!
God is moving, his Holy Spirit is moving while we’re there. We yield before the Holy Spirit, pastors are asked to lead the flock,” said Maharg. “An entire classroom is getting wiped out every day—and that’s just one location, one day. It’s a ministry of love and tears.”
A portion of the ministry is called, “Restored Life” for those who are post-abortive to share God’s love and restoration back to wholeness—this includes men, women, grandparents, siblings, etc. Questions: contact Ethel@lovelife.org or go to sign up here for your location and week. Don’t forget to register for Saturday’s event here!
Why Pray in Front of Abortion Centers?
Your peaceful, prayerful presence outside an abortion business CAN HELP SAVE LIVES–sparing both women and their unborn baby from the pain of abortion.
Former Planned Parenthood director, turned pro-life champion, Abby Johnson states, “when you are on the sidewalk, women see you as an outward sign of their inward conscience.” In fact, Johnson shares that Planned Parenthood upper management would complain whenever pro-lifers were outside because the no-show rate for abortions could go as high as 75%.
Friday mornings: A good start to get involved & connect with others, pro-lifers gather to pray and support the sidewalk counselors in front of the Albuquerque Planned Parenthood at 701 San Mateo Blvd. Also, lead sidewalk counselor, Philip Leahy ministers in front of Southwestern Women’s Options at 522 Lomas Blvd, Tuesday – Friday mornings. CareNet of Albuquerque often brings their mobile ultrasound van to the newly opened Alamo abortion business located at 10151 Montgomery Blvd (east of Eubank). They would also greatly appreciate your prayers and company! CONTACT: Curt@defendinglife.org. |
