Jesus Center Stage…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. This morning I prepare to go to a writer’s event being held tomorrow. I remember and laugh at myself the last time I attended a writers meeting. It was time for me to present my book and because it was Sunday, they gave me permission to pray even at this event that was not Christian.
I was well prepared and took the stage. Everything I had written and practiced never came out of my mouth. Words like the most important book you will ever need or read is the Bible. Download it, upload it, buy it and most importantly believe it. I forgot to even mention my book.
I remember praying for the people and going back to where I was sitting. Feeling a bit flushed I asked God what just happened underneath my breath. I answered your prayer, was his reply. You asked that you get out of the way so I could shine through, and I answered your request.
I ponder what tomorrow will be like…
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for another day to journey life with you. Thank you that you see the big picture in people’s lives all across this globe today. Father, may we be humble people, servants, as you served while here on earth.
Father, thank you that we don’t need to have all the answers. We simply offer ourselves with a servant’s heart, a caring spirit and full of the promises of God.
Father, may you always be center stage in our lives, our ministries and all that you trust us with. Amen.
