I was blessed to have a precious conversation with Pastor Alan Hawkins this morning about his beloved son Anthony. We mourn for the family. All of our hearts ache. Tears come and go. We surround Pastor Alan and Gail, and the entire family with our prayers and the love of Jesus. I so much love the above picture of Anthony and his little boy Jacoby! The smiles of pure love!
Many have come to FGGAM in search of information about the service time for Anthony. Services for our brother in Christ Anthony, will be at New Life City in Albuquerque, located at 5454 Venice Avenue NE at 1:00 PM this coming Saturday, with a reception to follow.

New Life City family, it is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the passing of our sweetest brother, Anthony Hawkins, who took his own life this week. We loved Anthony so much. He was a valued member of our church, and was involved in many of our lives as a friend, encourager, brother, father, uncle, and son. We are deeply saddened by this heartbreaking loss. We grieve but we are not without hope. Jesus is our redeemer and is our focus.
During this difficult time, we kindly request that everyone respects the Hawkins family’s need for space and time to process and grieve, so please refrain from reaching out. Please pray for Anthony’s family and friends, and share the love of Jesus and care for those around you.
There will be a meal train for the family in the coming days, so as a family we will step up to support those so dear to us in this incredibly difficult time.
