When Sharon and I are on the road carrying out The Great Commission, the top reason we get from people that do not go to Church is: The Church wasn’t fulfilling their needs, the other top reason would be that their Church fell in love with politics and politicians. We are thankful to the Lord that he enables us to travel and meet so many people. Get out Christian! Carry out The Great Commission! Get out of your walls! WAKE UP! As I preached yesterday at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Albuquerque, the Great Commission is not a suggestion, it is a command from JESUS! My goodness people!

PS: Dear Pastor, If you have a political bumper sticker on your car, I would suggest taking it off. You need to unite people, not divide them. Yes, I notice things like this!

From Gallup: In May 2023, 31% of U.S. adults said they attended church in the past seven days, remaining below the 34% measured before the pandemic and the 40% measured in most years before 2013

From Lifeway Research:

When churchgoers find a new congregation, most say their reasons for church switching had a little to do with both the old and new churches.

When churchgoers find a new congregation, most say their reasons for change had a little to do with both their old and new churches.

Lifeway Research studied 1,001 U.S. adults who identify as Protestant or non-denominational, attend church worship services at least twice a month and have attended more than one church as an adult.

During the research screening process, it was determined 53% of U.S. regular churchgoers say they have attended more than one church as an adult. Among those who have switched congregations, 63% say they’ve regularly attended only two to three churches as an adult, while another 22% have attended four to five congregations. Fewer say they’ve been active at six to seven churches (8%), eight to nine (3%) or 10 or more (4%).

For most of those changing churches, changing homes was a factor. Three in 5 church switchers (60%) say a residential move impacted their decision to leave their previous church and begin attending a new one. More
