A Golden Moment From God…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Have you ever had something happen and you think to yourself wow that was a gift from God. There is no way that could ever happen without him. I love to watch God work his plan. I love to see him work in our everyday lives. It is such a blessing to know that we are his craftmanship. Ephesians 2:10 tells us we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
I watch the snow coming down this morning remembering a lot of those golden moments from God. This morning I stopped writing to take two of my grandkids to the Festival of Trees. My grandson piped up and said, I hope to win the tree with the hot chocolate as he remembered there was none at Grammy’s house this morning. I smile big as their hearts were putting tickets in for their daycare, their mom and tools for their dad. Oh, the joy of children. It’s in the giving to others the blessings come.
I pray their little hearts will always stay tenderized by the gifts from the heart. Those heart blessings are the best. It was a kiss from God this morning for me to hear what is in their heart. Several of their tickets went into the tree donated by their daycare. I inquired if they were going for the gold on that tree, they were so proud to put their tickets in.
All the money in the world can’t buy happiness. All the trinkets and tokens we collect don’t buy happiness. True happiness comes from God. Kids are close to God’s heart. When you bless a child, you bless him.
It was fun to see the faces of all the children. Some skipping along the path and some with pure amazement at the glistening of the trees.
John 10:10 tells us God has come to give us life and life more abundantly. He tells us in Psalm 37:4-5 to Delight thyself also in the Lord; And he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; Trust also in him; And he shall bring it to pass.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the gift of children. They are dear to your heart. Father, we pray every child will feel the love of God as they are a gift from you.
Father, we thank you for protecting them, for making a way for every child. May every heart around the world be tenderized by the heart of a child, we pray. Amen.
