According to a recent CHURCH LEADERS article, on Friday, December 22, 2023, Zulya Schmidt, the wife of street preacher Hans Schmidt who was shot in the head on November 15, 2023 while preaching on a street corner, shared a photograph of him awake in his hospital bed and holding his 3-month-old baby boy.
During an interview with CBN News’ Billy Hallowell, Zulya shared that God has not only provided peace through the situation, but she believes that the prayers from people, many of whom she doesn’t even know, are the reason she’s been unwavering in her faith during the situation. So far as Zulya knows, police still do not have any leads as to who shot her husband.
