I will be 68 on July 4th of 2024. I have never seen America so dark. The Church in America has lost much of its influence on society. I am very, very sad at the condition of my country, including the Church. I am very concerned about the future of God’s babies and all young people. Put yourselves in their shoes! They are living in an America that does not have many Christian leaders at all, most of the ‘so called elected leaders’ fight and fight, speak and do evil things, and create chaos. politics is the playground of Satan. Our government has become ungovernable, it invites disaster. I never thought I would see the day when just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview!
Many say they pray……..however, the problem is many never repent of their sins! Now I am going to step on many toes here…..THE CHURCH NEEDS TO REPENT! The American Church has failed for many reasons that I have written and spoke about. Look at us, we are a mess, the country stinks to high heaven! Many say they pray, but no repentance, no change in behavior in so many. Just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview and just 37% of Pastors have a Biblical Worldview. So many Church splits, so much sex abuse, and corruption in many Churches, I could write a Church crime story almost everyday, it makes me SICK!! I scan the Christian news everyday, I see the ugly, I read the ugly, I myself get reports by phone, I cannot post all that ugly news, it is hard on my heart. When Jesus started His public ministry, He also called for repentance. Matthew 4:17 records, “From that time on Jesus began to preach, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.’” Jesus says of repentance, “I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent” (Luke 15:7). I turn to God and also love this prayer by my hero of faith, Billy Graham. Our only hope is GOD! I weep as I type this, I weep for all babies, they may never see the light of day. I pray for the well being all children and adults. Satan has blinded so many in America.
The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.

Our Father and our God, as we stand at the beginning of this new year we confess our need of Your presence and Your guidance as we face the future.
We each have our hopes and expectations for the year that is ahead of us—but You alone know what it holds for us, and only You can give us the strength and the wisdom we will need to meet its challenges. I have stated for years the greatest failure of the American Church in the last two decades, is in not carrying out The Great Commission, is not a suggestion, it is a command from our Lord. Long-time Pastor Don Kimbro told me years ago the lack of baptisims would ‘catch up’ with the Church. I know some Churches who have not baptized anyone for 6 years!
