As this year comes to a close and we look back at all that has transpired, we must also look ahead. With all the challenges we’ve all gone through in 2023 and the many adjustments we’ve had to make, it is easy to think that 2023 was almost an anomaly and relegated to the trash heap of history, a “wasted year.”
I do not fully know the mind of God, but I do know what Romans 8:18 says: “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us”. We must keep this at the forefront of our minds and move confidently into 2024 looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith.
Hold fast to this PROMISE: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28.
