Tell Her I Love Her…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. God’s Word tells us to listen to that small still voice. I remember a particular day just like it was yesterday. I was trying hard to listen and obey what I felt God was leading me to do. He tells us in John 10:27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I was just learning and scared to make a mistake.
This particular Saturday morning, I was cleaning in my kitchen and felt impressed to take half of my groceries to a particular family. I argued with the thoughts I was having, as that didn’t make sense. I decided to go polish the dining room table and get out of the kitchen. As I glanced up, I saw a candle I had put in the china cabinet that I had purchased from my daughters school. I heard Tell Her I Love Her. I was beginning to realize these thoughts were real and an assignment from God himself. I hurriedly packed up the groceries and the candle and went to this family’s house. At first there was no answer when I knocked on the door. I decided I was just going to leave it by the front door. As I turned to leave, the woman came out and I told her my wild story of hearing from God. She invited me in and showed me her refrigerator. I was humbled. I was excited that I heard the voice of the Lord and humbled he wanted to use me to be his hands and feet extended. She truly was in need.
I asked God to forgive me for arguing about the food (it was never about the food anyway) it was about being wrong and promised I would try to be a better servant. I really wanted to be a vessel in which he can trust. How about you? Are you ready and willing to be used by God today?
Let’s Pray:
Father, may we be obedient whether it is across town or across the world. Father, may we be sensitive to your small still voice. Thank you for teaching us. Thank you for healing your people and meeting every need according to your Word.
Father, may people respond today to whatever you are asking them to do. Together, we can make the world a better place because we are obedient to the one who founded it. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Listen up and step out today. Let the world know how much Jesus loves them.
