Isaiah 55:8-9 NKJV
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
If you would have asked us a year ago if we would be on this adventure my answer would have been a solid NO!
But here we are. We never can understand not just what but how the Lord is working.
The experience He allows us to go through shapes and molds us to conform to His will, if we are willing to be obedient, listen and be still.
Sometimes there is a waiting period.
Darlene and I waited for the Lord to move, and He has!
We have been given the honor and privilege to bring the Good News of Salvation through the Resurrected King, Jesus Christ, The Gospel and nothing else!
So we officially welcome you to
ReAwaken City Church!
Our assignment is to bring the Word of Truth through the Holy Scriptures of the Bible and direct you to the One who it is about!
Our desire is to ReIntroduce you to the Father,Son and Holy Spirit.
ReBuild, ReEncounter, ReExamine,
ReFresh and ReAwaken so we can be
ReAligned to His Heart!
Come and gather with us!
If I’m being honest I’m a little bit scared. It hasn’t been easy. There has been many things that have come against us. There has been times of doubt and worry. There had been unexpected situations.
We have asked ourselves many times if this is what the Lord has wanted.
There has been a lot of prayer. There has been a lot of waiting.
But I have come to the conclusion that all of this is a good thing.
It forces us to rely on the One that has the answers. I know we get told to wait on the Lord, sometimes in our humanity that’s too long. Either we can force the Hand of God and run ahead of Him or we can be still and wait.
This is how we knew this is what the Lord wanted ReAwaken City Church to begin and where, He laid it out!
We looked at many places for some time. Everyplace we went I would get excited I would tell my wife “This is the place, I think this is where the Lord wants us”! I was trying to move the Hand of God in my impatience.
When I stopped relying on my own thoughts and started to try and learn His, things started to change.
Suddenly the right place becomes available. Above and beyond all the other places we had looked at before. Then the Lord starts to bring in the people needed to help push us along.
We often pray for the Lord to shut doors that we don’t need to be walking through. When He does close them don’t try reopen them.
Then we pray for Him to open doors. Have the courage to walk through them, only if it is He that is guiding the way! When we do hold on to His Mighty and Precious Hand and trust Him, He will guide you to exactly where you need to be! Even if it is a place that you never thought was possible.
And here we are.

We thank all that have come alongside us, sometimes it takes many people to accomplish the work the Lord has in front of us. We thank you! We pray for you!
Darlene and I want to give special thanks and honor to these fine men of God.
They have given me amazing words of wisdom and encouragement. They have shown us love and support.

Colossians 3:16-17 NKJV
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

This is what these men live everyday! These men are amazing examples of what it is like to be a True Follower of Christ. Thank you for you loving our Lord and showing His love wherever you go!
Sometimes we just have to wait and see what the Lord has in store for us. When it is time He will lay the path, He will bring the people and He will guide you to where He wants you to be to do His work.
Then grab His hand and don’t let go! See how far He will take you!
