Faith, Hope and Encouraging Word By Jeanne Theriault

Those who walk by sight rely upon fleshly instincts and temporal pleasures to make decisions. Rather than trusting God in there walk. Walking by faith makes sense if we understand what true faith is.

Walking By Faith

2Corinthians 5:7 For we walk  by faith and not by sight

Faith is a firm belief in something for which there is no proof.

Walking speaks of how we live our lives and conduct ourselves.

Walking by sight speaks of choosing to live how things naturally appear, feel and seem at first  glance

Those who walk by sight rely upon fleshly instincts and temporal pleasures to make decisions.  Rather than trusting God in there walk. Walking by faith makes sense if we understand what true faith is.

Walking by faith is believing

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see

Faith is visualizing the future in advance.  Something’s have to be believed before they can be seen. The worlds says seeing is believing, God says believing is seeing.

Walking by faith is obeying when I don’t understand.

Hebrews 11:8 By faith Abraham when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where is was going .

Walking by faith is giving when you  don’t have it

Walking by faith is persisting when you do not feel like it .

Walking by faith is giving thanks before you receive it.

Matthew 21:22 If you believe you will receive

If you believe God when you come before him in prayer, let your faith guide you to his truth and not look to man for wisdom, but lean on God’s wisdom and direction and expect God to answer in his right timing. For everything is possible to those who believe.

Be blessed and encouraged by the Word of God
