O Lord, we call upon You in our time of sorrow, that You give the Matthew’s family strength and will to bear their heavy burdens, until they can again feel the warmth and love of Your divine compassion. Be mindful of them and have mercy on them while we struggle to comprehend life’s hardships. We pray that the person who hit and killed Matthew will turn themselves in. (KVII) — A pedestrian was killed by a hit-and-run driver. Around 12:45 a.m., someone called 911 to report a person lying in a field near 14th and Sycamore streets in Clovis. Police found debris in the roadway and Matthew Gibbs, 24, lying face down in the field. Gibbs was transported to Plains Regional Medical Center where he died. More Here
