For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Ephesians 6:12
Right now I’m speaking to the remnant of the Lord. It’s imperative that we recognize the spiritual battle is in the heavenly realms.
Especially all the more as we see the day of Christ approaching.
Many times, we feel unproductive, stale or dormant in our walk with God. Our ministry or worship feels dry.
It is not uncommon for Believers to face this from time to time. The unfortunate part is that some folks stay in this dry spell for years, without trying to get free. This is probably because we tend to feel helpless.
We must always remember that it’s in that pit of despair, doubt, fear and unbelief that Satan wants us to stay.
Have you ever felt so overwhelmed by your situation that is seems like there’s no way out? Well, that’s exactly where Satan wants you to stay.
Why? Because if he keeps you in that pit of despair and uncertainty, you can’t worship God. It’s not about you, it never has been. It’s about his disdain for Christ.
The principalities of this world are all under the influence and control of Satan. We must never forget this.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
1 Peter 5:8
We fight this battle, not with tangible weapons, but by putting on the whole armor of God, continually praying and studying daily, the Word of God.
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
Stand firm therefore, having belted your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having strapped on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
With every prayer and request, pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be alert with all perseverance and every request for all the saints.
Ephesians 6:13-18
Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
2 Timothy 4:2
There are evil forces behind the scenes, who we can’t see with the natural eyes, they are orchestrating this war we are in.
We must be ready at all times. Be patient, for in the end… God wins!
Many Blessing’s
Connie.
