9:23 PM And The Text Came In…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy first Saturday of February. This month I want to write, I want to pray, and I want to go deeper in God’s love. I love to discover his love for me in my everyday life. My prayer is you will too.
On Monday I went to a local store to take back an item. A friend shared that she had lost her wallet. I have only seen her occasionally over the past 15 years. I reminded her that I remembered the time she came to my home and brought me two hundred dollars when I was going to attend the International School of Mentorship in Tn. I did not want to take her money as she was a single mom working two jobs. I didn’t need her money for the trip, but she insisted God had told her to give me the two hundred dollars. I added it to the $50.00 another woman had brought to my home earlier in the day. She had said that God told her to bring me that money as well. I told her the same story. I was all set and didn’t need her money either. She had insisted as well that I was going to need it on this trip. On the last day of this adventure, God spoke to me and said to add my share of the hotel fee plus the amount those two ladies brought to my home was enough to pay for the hotel for myself and the other three attendees that were my roommates. He wanted to show his love and provision for them. I will never forget that time and my friend remembered bringing her two hundred dollars as we discussed the lost wallet.
We laughed as I told her how I lost my tooth (I have one tooth that is a partial) and I was devastated. It was expensive and I was helping a friend and forgot all about the tooth. I had taken the tooth out to chew some hard candy, silly me. I looked everywhere. As I went to bed that night, I talked to God about it one more time. The next morning, I went out to my car to look once again and as I stepped down the front steps, a single dent in the snowbank grabbed for my attention. There was my tooth. I told her my tooth story to build her faith before we prayed.
I reminded her how God was our rear guard (Isaiah 52:12). We then prayed for her and her wallet. I told her she would find the wallet and to text me when she did before she went to bed that night. The text came in at 9:23 PM the wallet was found. God is so faithful.
There is nothing he won’t do for his beautiful people. Ready to walk in a day filled full of God’s love?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your love. Take us deeper in your love, we pray. Tear down everything that has built itself up against your love.
Father, you call us beloved and Zephaniah 3:17 tells us: The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” To that we say Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. You are precious people in which he loves. Believe in John 3:16 and talk it over with him today. He loves to hear your voice.
