Approaching the vehicle and trailing behind it, my gaze fixated on the emblem adorning the van, proudly displaying the word “transit.” I found myself captivated by that single word, as if unable to divert my attention from it for what felt like an extended period. It dawned on me that a divine message might be embedded in this simple encounter.
This is where my curiosity got me to think more and more about the word “transit” as I looked up the meaning and began to uncover its essence- a passage or journey from one place to another, a transition or change. Intrigued by this revelation, I contemplated its implications and sought guidance from God’s Word.
Reflecting on recent divine messages urging me to “come up higher” to transcend failures, disappointments, and doubts, I recognized a call to navigate a different path. God’s invitation beckoned me to rise above life’s challenges, to leave behind the mundane and venture into the extraordinary.
The biblical context of coming to God with “fear and trembling” resonated as an invitation to embrace reverent awe, not to flee but to run towards a void only He could fill. Recognizing a universal longing for his love within us, God’s call became a catalyst for maturity and growth.
The concept of “coming “presented an opportunity to encounter God anew or return to him with an open heart as we embrace him. The journey unfolds, guiding us to higher spiritual levels. To come in Hebrew does not mean to come or go, but to “enter a void” to fill it! As we embrace him, the journey unfolds, guiding us to higher spiritual levels.
Drawing inspiration from the Book of Revelation, where John is called up higher to witness the heavenly throne room, I marveled at the continuous open door to God’s presence. Christ’s invitation to “come up higher” resonated, extending an offer to explore the heavenly realm, basking in the glory and wonder of His presence.
God intends to immerse our souls in his divine presence, providing the refreshment and strength to navigate life’s challenges. His Spirit, akin to a flowing river of life through His Word, washes over us as we eagerly step into his presence.
God promises to fill every void with his Spirit’s radiant light and abundance, encouraging us to ascend to greater intimacy. Accepting the invitation to “come” leads us into a transformative journey, a transit to the other side where the Holy Spirit continually changes and molds us.
As we walk in the realm of the Spirit, our vantage point becomes one of spiritual renewal, a source of quenching our spirits with the water of life. Accepting the call to “come up here” opens the door to wonderful revelations, ushering us into a new dimension of understanding and transformation.
Quench your thirst with the water of life and allow the flashes of God’s light and the sparkles of living water to communicate life, filling up every empty place in your heart!
The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, the true Christians) say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need [d]of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it, let him come, take, appropriate, and drink the water of Life without cost.
(Revelation 22:17, AMP).
