Recently I was on the sidewalk with my friend Jaime at an abortion clinic, when suddenly we were able to talk with a mom who really didn’t want to go through with the abortion. She told us that she had paid or would have to pay $1600 to whoever sent her there if she didn’t. We immediately stepped in to help calm her fears and got her into the Medical Mobile Unit that was standing by just in case any mom was on the fence. At this point, she wanted to go home to Texas. Unfortunately, her flight would not leave until the following day.
She spent the next two hours with the ultrasound techs where she got to see her baby. While there, resources were garnered and they were able to get her home that day. We got to see her before she left and she was at peace.
Before all of this took place, Jaime was on the sidewalk weeping and she said I don’t know why I’m crying so much. I told her that was the Holy Spirit showing her the heart of God. After we got Mama taken care of, Jaime was on cloud nine. Jaime said she had needed a breakthrough, and this was a gift from God. For God to let her experience a life being saved was such a gift.
I have had the privilege to see a few babies saved from the abortionist and there is nothing like it. It NEVER gets old. There is such rejoicing, and your heart is so full. It is inexplicable when you know that you got to be part of something great and amazing. It Never Gets Old!
I used to get down because there weren’t more babies saved, but I have learned to cherish the one that is. Jesus said in Luke 15:10 “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” God is showing us to be thankful for the one because one is not just one. When a baby is saved, an entire generation is saved.
If you have never been to a sidewalk just to pray, you are missing out. When you see a life saved, you will never be the same and it will Never Get Old for you.
