Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus

Philippians 4:6&7

Life can seem like it’s going along smoothly then all of sudden, out of left field, difficult and unsuspecting things begin to emerge.

Your job that was going wonderful is now uncertain. Your friends and family who were enjoying an abundant life, are now facing sickness and some even worse.

Your goals for this year have already diminished. And your finances, your health and even your marriage have a grim outlook.

It seems that life threw you a curveball. The things you felt secure in, are all of a sudden uncertain. And watching or reading the news can be a bit traumatic.

How do you trust God in these circumstances?

How do you trust Him when you do not understand what is happening?

When you cannot see an end to it all, when it all feels so hopeless?

Trusting God isn’t a thing you try “harder” to do. Trusting him happens when you hang out with Him long enough to see for yourself how faithful and trustworthy he really is. Because He is!

The more time you spend with God, the more you will trust him to lead you in the right direction!

Trusting God strengthens our faith to do things we never imagined we could. Focusing on Christ instead of whatever issues seem to be going on around us at the moment, opens the door to supernatural, amazing things.

In our limited understanding, trust isn’t going to be easy. Without putting effort into understanding the Word, we have no chance!

Letting Him lead us through life, gives us something the world cannot understand, that’s our peace.

We live in a fallen, sad world. We don’t understand everything and when we hear of bad news, we cannot comprehend it.

We may ask, why?

When bad things happen, we often look for a logical explanation, to which there isn’t one, in our minds.

“Bad things happen and often times, we don’t understand, but instead of doubting the goodness of God, our reaction should be to trust Him implicitly.”
(Quoted From; Need Him Global)

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight”

Proverbs 3:5-6

We walk by faith, not by sight knowing full well He’ll always be by our side, no matter what! And this should give us confidence and security.

Trust Him, know him well and seek his face.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 34:18

“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Hebrews 13:5

It’s only satan that makes you feel depressed and anxious. God’s protection comes in the form of peace and strength in the middle of our chaos and hurts because He saw an ending on the horizon that we could not see.

For my family, this last year was utterly devastating, but I can attest to the fact that God never left us for one single moment!

I can promise you that. He’s a Promise Keeper.

“Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”

Matthew 28:20

Many blessings,

Connie
