Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:16-20
As Christians, we are called to fulfill the great commission, it’s in our DNA so-to-speak.
This is a call to action for every believer. It’s not an opinion, it’s a mandate. And I believe that every believer should want to spread the good news. In fact, it would be very unfair to keep this good news to ourselves.
But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.
Ezekiel 33:6
In recent years, I have felt the need to evangelize more than usual, talk about God more and tell people about his saving grace, love and mercy.
We see scriptures that talk about the end of times being like birth pains and as in birth pains, they get harder, stronger and faster, and don’t stop. That is how it’s going to be in the last days. Things are going to get harder, stronger and faster, and they will not stop.
As we see these days approaching and the signs and wonders, I believe our evangelizing will become harder, faster and stronger. Some people find it annoying, repetitive, and they get frustrated hearing this over and over.
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the beginning of the birth pains.
Mark 13:8
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
Mark 16:15
We have a heavenly Father that loves us so much and we have salvation through him and eternal life, so why wouldn’t we want to share that good news? Especially when we see the battles going on. Spiritual battles, political battles and social battles.
Look around, evangelizing and preaching the gospel is needed now, more than ever. We, as believers, recognize the urgency of this.
It’s imperative that we tell others of Christ. In him there is so much freedom and love.
We are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.
Matthew 5:14
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’
Isaiah 52:7
Preach till He comes!
Many Blessing’s,
