The 2024 Legislative Session is over, and the fight to protect your people has never been more important. While we are seeing movement toward an awakening in New Mexico, the below rankings show us a state in need of the Word of God and His peace.

JOBS AND UNEMPLOYMENT

• #38 in Low Unemployment Rates  (as of December 2023). 
• #48 in Employment Participation Rates.  Economic Research
  (only 56.4% of working age in NM are in the workforce) 
• #3 in High Poverty Rates. US News Article

CRIME AND POVERTY

• ABQ Crime Rate is 170.9% higher than the national average. Crime Rate Stats

QUALITY OF LIFE

• #51 in “Best States in the US”
  Recent study ranks New Mexico as the worst state to live in. ABC News KVIA  says, “A new report argues that New Mexico is statistically the worst state to live in. WalletHub analyzed 51 different factors, including economy, health, education, affordability, and safety for each state. It found that, overall, New Mexico ranked last.” Read more here.

GOVERNOR

• New Mexico Governor ranks 50^th in the US. The Laffer ALEC Report on Economic Freedom.

SUICIDE

• #4 in Suicide Rates. Throughout the state of New Mexico, suicide is the second leading cause of death for ages 10-24. That’s a horrifying number for our children. Read more from CAMS-Care.  

ABORTION

• New Mexico is known as the “Abortion capitol of the U.S.”.
• Governor has named it the “AbortTourism Capitol.”
• No current statistics since the horrible laws passed in 2023.
