Who Have You Honored Today?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Don’t laugh, it’s morning somewhere around this globe. This morning, I sat for a long time with God before my fingers ever hit the keyboard. I pondered what I would write. I promised I would share this morning at our weekly huddle at the office. I work with an amazing group of people that bring incredible care on behalf of others. They are some of the most selfless people I have ever met.
The word that was highlighted to me this beautiful morning in Aroostook County, Maine was the word honor. In a world that’s all about us, our desires, wants and needs, our team looks beyond our own issues to honor others. We take our beating hearts every day and bring hope and kindness to folks that need it.
Today, as we are believing this is our best year yet, don’t forget to honor one another. In the book of Romans Paul tells us that love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.

Father, thank you that every life is worthy of honor and love.
Father, we honor you today and every day. Your Word tells us to honor one another above ourselves. Every life is important to you. Today, we pray that the love of Christ, the love for one another will flow around our world. When we honor one another, we are honoring you.
