Today, Christians are faced with challenges from unbelievers which causes many to doubt their faith. Can the Bible be trusted? Are the sections of Scripture written as history meant to be viewed with suspicion until verified by modern science? Jesus talks about the creation, fall, and Noah’s Flood. For example, Jesus states, “For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man (ESV, Matther 24:37-39). No matter if the end times (the coming of the Son of Man) are in the near or far future, every day brings us closer to them. If Scripture states that the end times will be characterized by similar acts of sin, disobedience, and willful ignorance as in the days of Noah, and the end times are real, then so is Noah’s Flood.
