A Heart Of Worship
John 4:23-24 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit and his worshipers must worship in spirit and truth.
A heart of worship is one who surrenders all to God. In moments of worship is when we lay all of our burdens at His feet. We lift our hearts and worship him.
Worship is engaging with God from the heart. Your spirit should exalt his name with every breath.
Worship times are intended to connect with God. It’s in those times where we can experience his presence.
Psalm 95:6 Come let us bow down and worship let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
Psalm 100:2 Worship the Lord with gladness come before him with joyful songs.
James 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you.
When we worship the Lord God affirms his power and victory over every situation we face. God receives the glory and our faith is increased and the enemy is terrified and his plans are confounded. The enemy knows the power of worship and he will distract you. The enemy has no chance of winning against people who are consumed with worshiping God for their victory !
When we worship God it is a declaration and victory cries of proclamation faith to stand firm in the place God has given you. Worship is a prayer of the heart it is having an intimacy with God. He knows every battle you face.
Psalm 16:11 You have made known to me the path of life you will fill me with joy in your presence with eternal pleasure at your right hand.
