Blessed Even In The Storm…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. The storm is arriving, and it is slow moving traffic all around. As I look out the window, I think about the storms of life I personally have weathered. I bet you can too. When we come through the storm, no matter what it looks like, we can see God’s goodness on our lives. He is always with us, no matter the storm. He is faithful to the very end. Amen?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for your Word. Thank you that all things work together for good for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:28) Whether we are in the eye of the storm or we are smoothly sailing across the sea of life, you are journeying with us. Nothing can separate us from your love, nothing.
Father, Romans 8:35-39 tell us Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Father, you bring every person that will journey life with you to the other side of every storm of life. The sun will shine again in their lives. You are the same God who tells the winds to blow, the snow to fall and the sun to shine and you have your eye on us every minute of every day.
Father, may we never forget no matter what part of the journey we are on, you are Emmanuel God with us. Amen.
