As things get worse in this world, we have to cling to and seek God with all we have. He’s our only hope.
None but Jesus.
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power.
Have nothing to do with such people.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
We have already seen these things taking place, so we should be running towards God at this crucial hour.
When man fails us, and he will, We have to trust God to see us through.
Our confidence and hope should always be in Christ alone.
Some folks might quit on God, because someone else failed them.
So, it’s absolutely important that our hope is in Christ alone and not in man. For man can always let us down, but God never will!
The reason God makes hope and trust a priority, is because it relates directly to His character.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Romans 15:13
Now is the time to seek God with all you have. In His presence, is the best place to be.
