Talk It Over Today…
Good morning beautiful people. Happy Friday! We made it. This week has been a bit challenging for me, but I talk it over with the person with all the answers. 2024 is our best year yet and we will see the goodness of our God. Just because we have all the promises of God and we believe them, doesn’t mean we won’t go through trials. I personally wrestled all week on the loss of a young woman in our community.
I am thankful that even when we don’t understand, he does. He is the great comforter, and we can talk everything over with him. He can bring peace and comfort like no other and someday we will see all our loved ones on the other side. That’s his promise.
If you are on the mountaintop today or if you are in the valley, talk things over with him and let him bring peace to your heart, mind and soul. He is the best Father.
Let’s Pray:
Father, we come to you this morning thanking you for bringing us through another week. Father this morning we pray the prayer from Matthew 6:9-13. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
Father, visit our communities, our families, our nation like never before, we pray. The kind of visitation we read about in your Word in Joel 2:28. We give you thanks. Amen.
