Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.
Psalm 37:4-5
2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us that we should demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
In order to hold those thoughts of worry and fear captive, we will need something to replace it with.
Studying God’s Word, praying, attending Church, worshiping and any other positive things you can do to know Christ better, is the key to holding those fearful thoughts at bay.
Things may look grim, your account balance may be low, your marriage may be difficult, your health may be failing, but God knows exactly what he’s doing.
Remember, trials prove the genuineness of your faith, they help strengthen you.
Trusting God starts with NOT leaning on my own understanding and with trusting God with ALL my heart.
Know Jesus, know peace.
No Jesus, No peace. It’s that simple.
Trust and wait, and what do you do while you wait?
Lean on God.
Trust in him at all times, oh people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.
Psalm 62:8
The Lord is our source of peace and trusting in Him should be consistent, in good and bad circumstances.
Many Blessings,
