Unlock Your Heart Today…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I love that Jesus sees and knows everything. Nothing is hidden from him. He sees what is in our hearts. Make no mistake beautiful people, he sees it all. This morning forgiveness was highlighted to me once again.
Recently, I forgave someone that tried to do me wrong. This was no acquaintance, but someone I walked with for a long time. When I finally had the courage to talk with this individual, I lost a lot of weight that day. It wasn’t that I couldn’t and didn’t recover, but the hurt was so deep. I never once thought this person would hurt me. We prayed together, we shared a lot of family events, etc. and this person was by no means a stranger.
The enemy will try to bring the memory of the wrongs back to our minds, and we must say out loud, forgiven. We must be quick to forgive, no matter what the hurt. It doesn’t make everything ok, but it frees our heart and gives God permission to work on the other person. Many times, it is easier to have the broken arm, the bruised body than to carry around the pain of the hurt.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you a bruised reed you will not break, and a smoldering wick you will not snuff out. In faithfulness, you will bring forth justice. (Isaiah 42:3)
Father, thank you for the grace to forgive one another today. Thank you that today we can choose to forgive the people that brought the hurt. Ephesians 4:32 tells us to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave us.
Father, help our words to be kind and gentle as proverbs 15:1 tells us; A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
Together, all across this globe we release the power of forgiveness. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Find a new level of freedom as we release forgiveness.
