Ushered into the presence of God.

This life as we know it will not last forever. We and this world will pass. And there is going to come a time when you and I, as followers of Jesus, will be coming home, because we are not home yet.

The final homecoming outweighs any earthly benefit!

The Apostle Paul stated, “I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far”

Philippians 1:23

We all know that death is inevitable, we know its just a matter of time before God calls us home. We do not know the day, time, or circumstances under which this event will occur, but we know that day is coming.

It won’t matter what your financial status, religious status, corporate status or academic status is, we’re all destined to leave this earth.

The good news is, if you know Christ, you’ll be ushered right to His presence .

“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”

2 Corinthians 5:8

Scripture tells us that God has set eternity in the human hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

Throughout Scripture, we see that we do not cease to exist when our earthly bodies die. You see, God loved us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to live a perfect life and die a painful death, on a cross in order for us to have eternal life in heaven

(John 3:16).

Jesus’ death paid for our sins, and this is the reason we can enter the throne of grace boldly and confidently!

Knowing, confessing and believing God is the key here. Do not be complacent about the things of Christ!

Now is the time to set your life right.

Now is the time to get your house in order.

Now is the time to start serving Christ.

My prayer for you today is that you will accept him and spend eternity with him. That if you do not know him personally, that you would seek Him.

If you do not know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you’re going to heaven if you died today, please speak to a pastor or a Christian friend and do whatever it takes to know him!

Many Blessings,

Connie
