Don’t Forget To Say Thank You…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Thursday. I was thinking of all the ways God has blessed me this morning. I am sure he has blessed you as well. Let’s give him thanks today. Luke 17:11-19 tells us the story of only one-that’s one out of ten returned to say thank you for what he had done. Jesus had healed all ten of these people.

Actually, let’s ready it together.  Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan.  Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

It’s easy to see what we don’t have instead of being thankful for what we do have. Let’s reflect today on all that we have and be a thankful people. Today, I am thankful for you, for family, friends, good health, prosperity, and to journey every day with a man that loved me enough to die for. (John 3:16) It’s going to be a great day!

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for the many blessings you bestow upon us. You are a good God, and we are a blessed people.

Father, today we pray the Lord’s prayer once again together.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the kingdom and the glory forever. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s beautiful people. Continue to walk in God’s blessings and always return to say thanks.
