Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
John 15:13
Let us pause for just a moment to give thanks and remember the dedicated men and women who put their lives at risk so that we might continue to enjoy ours.
“I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Corinthians 1:4
Memorial Day commemorates the men and women who died while in the military service of their country, particularly those who died in battle or as a result of wounds sustained in battle.
In other words, the purpose of Memorial Day is to memorialize the veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Thank you to all who serve and have served our country!
Memorial Day is the day we pay homage to all those who didn’t come home, it is meant to be a more somber day to honor those who have passed.
Without their bravery, heroism, and sacrifice, our daily pleasures and freedoms would not be possible. This is a day to pause and recognize the great price that has been paid and to show our national pride and gratefulness for those who have paid so very much.
Our prayers for you and yours. 🇺🇸💙
I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers.
Philemon 1:4
God bless you,
Connie
