Is Prayer The Greatest Recipe For Motherhood?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I pondered many things this morning about motherhood. What is the recipe for motherhood? I wanted my children to experience God for themselves. More than anything in the world, I wanted them to know him and journey life with him. One thing they could always count on, their mother would be praying for them. Prayer is the greatest gift you could give anyone, I believe.
A Mother’s Recipe…
1 cup of faith- filled to the top to overflowing.
1 cup of love- that stirs even the hardest heart.
1 cup of hope – for the very best.
Mix together gently, add prayer daily and season with great expectation.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the gift of motherhood. Thank you that you work all things out as we put our faith and trust in you. (Romans 8:28)
Father, we pray every dream and every desire you have placed in our children’s heart will come to pass. You tell us to honor our mothers and fathers, so that we may live long in the land the Lord our God has given us. (Exodus 20:12) Thank you God for creating us in our mother’s womb. (Psalm 139)
Father, thank you for watching over all that concern’s us as mothers. We add our faith, our love this morning and gently mix it with hope for your very best for our children.
Father, thank you for fulfilling your promises to us. We join faith and pray for every mother this morning that has a wayward child, a child struggling with addiction, or a broken relationship. We pray your scripture in Jeremiah 31:16 that says this: But now this is what the Lord says: Do not weep any longer, for I will reward you,” says the Lord. Your children will come back to you from the distant land of the enemy. (NLT) We give you thanks.
Father, thank you for the greatest recipe for motherhood, prayer. Amen.
