Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus

Philippians 4:6-7

Life can seem like it’s going along smoothly then all of sudden, out of left field, difficult and unsuspecting things begin to emerge.

Your job that was going wonderful is now uncertain. Your friends and family who were enjoying an abundant life are now facing sickness and some even worse.

Your goals for this year have already diminished. And your finances, your health and even your marriage have a grim outlook.

It seems that life threw you a curveball. The things you felt secure in, are all of a sudden uncertain.

So, how do we trust God in these circumstances?

Trusting God isn’t a thing you try “harder” to do. Trusting him happens when you hang out with Him long enough to see for yourself how faithful and trustworthy he really is.

You see, the more time you spend with God, the more you will trust him to lead you in the right direction! Trusting God strengthens our faith to do things we never imagined we could.

Focusing on Christ instead of whatever issues seem to be going on around us at the moment, opens the door to supernatural, amazing things.

During the storm at sea, when Jesus told Peter to walk on water and come to Him, Peter succeeded as long as he looked only at Jesus. Peter’s FAITH in Christ, was the deciding factor. (Without faith, he would have sunk.)

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths”

Proverbs 3:5-6

In our limited understanding, trust isn’t going to be easy. Without putting effort into understanding the Word, we have no chance!

Letting Him lead us through life, gives us something the world can’t comprehend….Peace

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

John 14:27

Many Blessing’s,

Connie
