KOB 4 News is reporting the breaking news of yet another shooting in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which may be viewed HERE.
This shooting, a homicide, occurred after 9:00 AM this morning (5/14/2024) just south of the intersection of Mountain Road NE and Pennsylvania Street NE, in Albuquerque. The crime scene is next to this writer’s home and five gunshots were heard by a family member.
Albuquerque Police Department (“APD”) is actively processing the scene and the dead body has been tarped, but not yet removed from the street. Many persons living in nearby apartments are blocked from leaving their homes. The APD mobile crime scene vehicle is on site. A neighbor reports that the shots were fired from a vehicle and that license plate number(s) were provided to APD.
On top of this, FGGAM’s Co-Founder and Pastor Dewey Moede already reported about shots being fired into a car traveling along Paseo Del Norte Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, earlier today! This FGGAM report may be read HERE.
Pray! Pray for Albuquerque! Pray that New Mexico state and local governments would pursue actions which prevent violence and keep criminals locked up, instead of routinely taking actions that reduce the freedoms of law-abiding citizens and do little to lower crime!
The Answer is Jesus. The problem, at its core, is a problem of the HEART. Lord, have mercy upon us, our cities and our state, in Jesus’ name!
1 Chronicles 16:34 (NKJV)
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV)
“…if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Praise Jesus forevermore!
