I witness people here in Albuquerque still wearing a mask. Many people are wearing them because of a health risk. A couple of things I do not understand is people wearing a mask while riding a bike, or driving a car, or walking or running alone in the park! Fear? BUT! Thugs wear them to commit evil! I saw awhile back on the news a business is not allowing anybody into his store that is wearing a mask. I can understand that. The owner has been robbed many times. The issue of wearing a mask issue is not going away in America anytime soon. Just like everything else, we argue about it. I so much respect the wearing the mask for elderly people who have health concerns, My heart goes out to them.
I have to add, I think I know a THUG when I see one! The masks that thugs wear is quite a bit different than ones used by people with a health concern. We do have freedom in this country yet, right? COVID changed the world forever. COVID struck many with fear, and many still have the fear.

Americans can’t seem to stop fighting about masks. After years of intense debate over mask mandates, the argument has now flipped entirely to become about whether certain face coverings should be banned.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said last week that she is considering banning face masks on New York City subways over concerns that the coverings obscure the identities of people committing antisemitic acts. New York City Mayor Eric Adams supports the idea, arguing that “cowards cover their faces.”
“We will not tolerate individuals using masks to evade responsibility for criminal or threatening behavior,” Hochul said. “On a subway, people should not be able to hide behind a mask to commit crimes.” More Here
