Anticipating a Presidential debate unlike any other

Dr. Jim Denison: When the candidates’ personalities match our own. Your views regarding tonight’s debate likely reflect your views of the candidates before it begins. This is not just the case with your partisan positions, which will obviously influence your opinion of the event. It turns out, your personality is a major factor as well.

Tonight’s televised presidential debate is the earliest such event in US history. Debates between presidential candidates are not legally required—there were none in 1964, 1968, or 1972.

Some are more pivotal than others: Sen. John Kennedy’s performance in 1960 likely legitimized him with viewers and contributed to his victory, while former Gov. Ronald Reagan’s confidence and likeability helped him win in 1980.

Since roughly 10 percent of US voters are still undecided, tonight’s event could prove especially pivotal.  More Here

Will tonight’s debate be fair?

This message by Dr. Michael Brown sure fits into tonight’s debate…….

The Christian Post

Dr. Michael Brown (https://thelineoffire.org/) is the host of the nationally syndicated The Line of Fire  radio show.

The great British evangelist George Whitefield (1714-1770) once said (in the light of a litany of lies and false accusations lodged against him), “I am content to wait till the judgment day for the clearing up of my character. When I am dead I desire no epitaph but this, ‘Here lies G. W. What kind of man he was the great day will discover.’”

Yes, everything will be laid bare and discovered on that day. As Ecclesiastes says, “Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:13–14).

Everything — absolutely everything — will come to light, and those sins which have not been covered and cleansed by the blood of Jesus will testify against us on that day. More Here

Whether you agree with Dr. Brown or not, I pray this makes you think. Repent all! The majority of Americans no longer fear God. I am scanning the headlines today and the country is basically unraveling faster and faster. Church Fight: Lance Wallnau slams Rick Warren’s tweet on Robert Morris as political dig at Trump

Tonight’s Presidential debate will be nothing but Presidential. It will show our failure, yes our failure, as a country to the world. We have become so very ungodly. We have no good future with the two political parties we have the GOP and DEMS, are so dysfunctional.

Biden and Trump are not capable of bringing America together. Read this from the AP: Both men remain broadly unpopular as they prepare to face off for the first time since 2020, although Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, maintains a modest enthusiasm advantage with his base compared to Biden, the Democratic incumbent. More Here

The American Church is losing its influence day by day: George Barna: “People have become more selfish, churches have become less influential, pastors have become less Bible-centric”

Failure to carry out The Great Commission and Baptize folks, helping them grow up to be mature Christians, having children’s Sunday school, etc……..failures of many Churches.
