“Lord, have mercy” is a prayer and expression of need and humility. It’s a way to acknowledge that people are desperate for what only God can give, and that God’s merciful actions can change lives.

The Nigeran government is hell on earth. Do not travel there.

As of May 2024, the US Department of State and other travel advisories recommend that US citizens reconsider travel to Nigeria due to the risk of crime, terrorism, civil unrest, kidnapping, and armed gangs. Some areas have an increased risk, and the FCDO advises against all but essential travel to Kano State, Jigawa State, Sokoto State, and within 20km of the border with Niger in Kebbi State.

ABUJA, Nigeria — Suspected Fulani herdsmen killed a pastor, his wife and three other Christians at around midnight on June 2 in Plateau state, central Nigeria, sources said.

The raiders with heavy weaponry attacked a predominantly Christian village in Kwall District, Bassa County, killing Pastor Dauda Dalyop, 63, of the Assemblies of God Church; his wife, Chummy Dauda, 57; Chwe Ajuhs, 26; Joshua Kusa, 45; and Rikwe Doro, 43, said Sam Jugo, spokesman for the Irigwe Development Association, an umbrella group of the predominantly Christian ethnic group in Plateau state. The Rest of The Story Here
